About me
I'm Thomas, a personal trainer with over a decade of experience working with people who want to train in a way that's structured, sustainable, and aligned with real life. My work is grounded in strength training, but my focus goes beyond short-term results - I help people build consistency, confidence, and long-term progress they can actually maintain.
My approach
I take a holistic approach to health and training - not in a vague or over-complicated way, but by recognising that progress comes from how training, nutrition, recovery and mindset work together over time.
Rather than chasing short-term results, I help clients:
- Build strength safely and progressively
- Develop consistency they can maintain
- Train with clarity instead of guesswork
- Understand why they're doing what they're doing
This approach leads to better results, fewer setbacks and a healthier relationship with training and the body overall.
The four pillars of my approach
-
Training
Strength training forms the foundation of my work. Training should build resilience, confidence and physical capability - not break you down or rely on extremes.
-
Nutrition
Nutrition should support training, recovery and daily life. I focus on practical, sustainable habits rather than rigid rules or short-term fixes.
-
Recovery & Movement
Progress depends on how well the body recovers and moves. Addressing stiffness, mobility and mechanics helps reduce pain, improve performance, and support long-term health.
-
Mindset
Long-term results come from consistency, not intensity. Developing awareness, balance and a healthier relationship with training is key to sustainable progress.
What it's like to work with me
-
Structured sessions
Each session is tailored to help you achieve your goals. The training is structured, focusing on sensible progression and good technique - to make sure you get the most out of every session.
-
Calm coaching style
I aim to create an environment where people feel supported, confident and capable - not rushed, pressured or overwhelmed.
-
Long-term focused
I don't believe in quick fixes or extreme approaches. The goal is steady progress you can maintain - building strength, confidence and habits that fit your life, not dominate it.
